The Mizuno Devonport Half Marathon on Sunday, 30 September 2018 is an annual 21.1km half marathon, and 5km, 10km & 15km fun run/walk events and 2km kids run in Auckland, and is the first race in the 2018/19 Auckland Half Marathon Series. This event was originally known as The Devonport Classic and has been held every year since 2002. Placed four weeks before the Auckland Marathon, it is the ideal tune-up for the big day. The special 15km option is the ideal tester for those in the half marathon. For those with more modest ambitions, this is just a great way to discover the beaches, cafes, reserves and historic neighbourhoods of this fabulous area.
